Priština, 6. novembar 2013 – Ministarka za Evropske integracije, Vlora Çitaku, dočekala je na sastanku g. Z. Nick Haekkerup, Ministra za trgovinu i evropska pitanja, kao i delegaciju sastavljenu od visokih zvaničnika vlade Danske. Na sastanku se diskutovalo za poslednja zbivanja na Kosovu; očekivanja Kosova od početka pregovora za Sporazum o stabilizaciji i pridruživanju (SSP) sa EU-om, uspešno organizovanje izbornog procesa na teritoriji Kosova, i stvaranje jednog novog momenta za napredovanje odnosa sa Srbijom, procesa priznavanje državnosti Kosova, i opšte reforme koje se odnose na evropsku agendu Kosova.
Ministarka i ministar Haekkerup su razgovarali o poslednjim zbivanjima u našoj zemlji sa posebnim naglaskom na zadobijeni kredibilitet Kosova zbog njegovog pozitivnog pristupa normalizaciji odnosa sa Srbijom, ispunjavanja kriterijuma i početka pregovora za potpisivanje SSP-a sa EU-om.
Takođe,
Posle sastanka ministarka Çitaku i ministar Haekkerup održali su zajedničku konferenciju za štampu.
Ministarka Çitaku je rekla da je upoznala ministra Haekkerupa o održavanju uspešnih izbora na celoj teritoriji Kosova: “ovi izbori su istorijski zbog činjenice da su po prvi put nakon 14 godina održani na celoj teritoriji Kosova i po prvi put ćemo imati legitimne i legalne institucije na severu zemlje ”.
Ministarka Çitaku je naglasila još jednom važnost poboljšanja odnosa sa Srbijom i dodala da se:” kroz dijalog koji se vodi od strane baronice Ashton i koji se održava u Briselu i sa potpisivanjem dogovora 19. aprila, povećava subjektivitet Kosova i na taj način je olakšano Evropskoj Uniji donošenje odluke za početak pregovora za potpisivanje Sporazuma za stabilizaciju i pridruživanje(SSP), između Evropske Unije i Kosova“.
Dok je danski ministar rekao da ”cenim saradnju između Danske i Kosova i želim da naglasim da Danska podržava nezavisnost Kosova i put Kosova ka Evropskoj Uniji. Takođe, potvrđujemo napredak koji je Kosovo uspelo da postigne kroz reforme, normalizaciju odnosa sa Srbijom, i svesni smo da je put ka članstvu dug, ali Kosovo stoji na pravom putu u ovom pravcu. Mi smo uočili da ste preduzeli vrlo smele korake i želim da ponovim da ćete imati neprekidnu podršku Danske”.
