Priština, 16 januara 2013 god – Ministarstvo za Evropske Integracije organizovalo je danas jednodnevnu obuku za državne institucije u cilju izgradnje kapaciteta o aplikaciju za fondove Investicionog Okvira za Zapadni Balkan (Western Balkan Investment Framework – WBIF)
Tokom otvaranja obuke Gosp. Demush Shasha, Generalni Sekretar Ministarstva za Evropske Integracije je naglasio: „Važni politički razvoji, kao što je članstvo Kosova u Evropskoj Banci za Obnovu i Razvoj, treba da se dopuni sa tehničkim kapacitetima i ekspertizom u cilju pripreme značajnih projekata koji će naći podršku unutar međunarodnih finansijskih institucija, u sklopu WBIF. To je pravi cilj ove obuke“.
Investicioni Okvir za Zapadni Balkan ima za cilj da poboljša saradnju i poveća finansijske kapacitete za investicije koje doprinose socijalno – ekonomskom razvoju i unapređenju procesa integracija Zapadnog Balkana. Institucije koje doprinose sa finansijskim resursima u sklopu okvira su: Evropska Komisija, Banka za Razvoj Saveta Evrope, Evropska Banka za Obnovu i Razvoj, Evropska Banka za Investicije, Nemačka Banka za Razvoj, Svetska Banka kao i bilateralni donatori.
Okvir se fokusira na ključne sektore ekonomija Zapadnog Balkana koji obuhvata: energetiku, životnu sredinu, saobraćaj, socijalna pitanje kao i razvoj privatnog sektora. Tokom obuke su objašnjene strukture, procesi i ključni akteri Investicionog Okvira za Zapadni Balkan.
Obuke je organizovana u skladu sa pripremama projekata za sprovođenje devetog kola WBIF, kojim povodom je predstavljen i priručnik za apliciranje kao i objašnjeni su i neki primeri predlog projekata.
Obuka je predvođena od strane Jeremy Lazenby i Nicolas Sinclair, Vođe i Zamenika Vođe projekta Evropske Unija „Infrastructure Projects Facility in the Western Balkans“.
