Lisabon, 25. maj 2016. – Ministar za evropske integracije, gdin. Bekim Çollaku, boravi u zvaničnoj poseti u Portugalu, gde se danas sastao sa državnom sekretarkom za evropska pitanja, gđa. Margarida Marques. Ministar Çollaku se zahvalio državnoj sekretarki Marques za kontinuiranu podršku Portugala pruženoj Kosovu, počevši od priznanja nezavisnosti, zatim za doprinos i prisustvo u misiji KFOR-a i EULEX-a. Ministar Çollaku je obavestio gđu. Marques u vezi sa najnovijim dešavanjima na Kosovu, evropskom agendom reformi sa fokusom na početku sprovođenja SSP-a, kao i sa procesom liberalizacije viza, sada kada smo u fazi odlučivanja unutar institucija EU. S druge strane, sekretarka Marques je potvrdila da će Portugal nastaviti i dalje da podržava evropski put Kosova, uključujući i liberalizaciju viza. Tokom sastanka, sagovornici su naglasili neophodnost produbljivanja saradnje i trgovinskih odnosa, sada kada su otvorene nove mogućnosti, stupanjem na snagu SSP-a. Konkretnije, razgovarali su o mogućnostima ulaganja u sektoru poljoprivrede, obnovljive energije, građevine, itd. Poseta Ministra Çollaku u Lisabonu je prva poseta visokog službenika Republike Kosovo u Portugalu. Kao rezultat ove posete, strane su se složile da u bliskoj budućnosti potpišu memorandum u svim oblastima od zajedničkog interesa.
