Brisel, 1. jun 2018 – U prostorijama Evropske komisije u Briselu, ministarka Hoxha je danas potpisala Finansijski sporazum IPA 2017 sa gospođom Genoveva Ruiz Calavera, direktorkom za Zapadni Balkan pri Generalnoj direkciji za politiku susedstva i pregovore o proširenju. Ovaj sporazum, odnosno prvi deo sporazuma, vredan je 49.4 miliona evra, i od tog iznosa 48 miliona evra biće finansirano od Evropske unije, dok 1.4 milion evra izdvojiće Vlada Republike Kosovo.
Ovim sporazumom, Kosovo će dobiti finansijsku pomoć koju će koristiti za unapređenje demokratije i upravljanja, jačanje vladavine prava i ljudskih prava, za zaštitu životne sredine, projekte za klimu i energiju, povećanje konkurentnosti i inovacije, poljoprivredu i ruralni razvoj. Takođe će ova sredstva biti korišćena za unapređenje obrazovanja, zapošljavanja i socijalnih politika.
Kosovo je već dugi niz godina korisnik IPA fondova i nama ostaje da iskoristimo ovu pomoć za sprovođenje reformi, a svi projekti treba da rezultiraju poboljšanjem blagostanja naših građana.
U skladu sa dinamikom kroz koju prolazi Kosovo na svom putu ka EU, Ministarstvo za evropske integracije u saradnji sa svim državnim organima, će povećati svoju posvećenost napretku ove finansijski pomoći, kako bi efekte ove pomoći osećao svaki građanin Kosova.
