U svom obraćanju, ministarka Çitaku je istakla značaj i kompleksnost ove misije za procenu i zahtevala da sve neophodne pripreme budu preduzete, i zatražila je prikupljanje i obradu svih relevantnih statističkih podataka, prezentacija rada lokalnih institucija još od početka dijaloga o vizama, a posebno je naglasila da se stavi fokus na predstavljanje trendova i napretka u višegodišnjim smislu, kao i da se predstave konkretni planovi kako da se bavi ovim pitanjima, čak i nakon vizne liberalizacije.
Misija za procenu (utvrđivanje činjenica), koja se očekuje da će doći na Kosovo tokom marta, biće zainteresovana za sprovođenje međunarodnih sporazuma, domaće zakone, nacionalne strategije, sa posebnim fokusom na zakonima, strategijama i sporazumima koji su stupili na snagu u ovom periodu.
Ministarka Çitaku se obratila prisutnima rekavši: „Ova misija procena nas zatiče pripremljenim, uradili ste odličan posao i taj posao bi trebalo da bude predstavljen što je najbolje moguće.“
Pored toga, ministarka Çitaku je rekla: „Rezultati i nalazi ove misije za procenu određuju tempo za okončanje procesa i dobijanje liberalizacije viza za Kosovo, stoga, moramo osigurati da su sve informacije o dostignućima naše zemlje identifikovane i predstavljene koncizno timu za procenu“.
Dok, sa svoje strane, ministar unutrašnjih poslova, gospodin Bajram Rexhepi, je zatražio koherentnost pri izveštavanju statistike koja se tiče borbe protiv organizovanog kriminala i o sprovođenju zakonodavnog i strateškog okvira za integrisano upravljanje granicom i javni red i bezbednost.
Na kraju, ministarka Çitaku je zahvalila svima za obavljeni posao do sada, pozvala da se nastavi posao koji je započet u cilju zaključenja ovog procesa što pre, pošto je zajednički zaključak svih relevantnih aktera da su dostignuća neosporna i biće podupreta rezultatima koji će biti predstavljeni tokom misije procene.
