22 Nëntor 2016 – Ministria e Intergimit Evropian ka organizuar punëtori dy ditore me akterët kyç të sistemit të drejtësisë për rritjen e efikasitetit në luftimin e krimit të organizur dhe korrupsionit. Në këtë punëtori po marrin pjesë prokurorë dhe gjyqëtarë të ngarkuar me top rastet e krimit të organizuar dhe korrupsionit në kuader të mekanizmit percjellës për luftimin e krimit të organizuar dhe korrupsionit.
Përfaqësues nga Policia e Kosovës, Doganat, Administrata Tatimore e Kosovës dhe Intelegjenca Financiare janë gjithashtu pjesë e kësaj punëtorie.
Punetoria ka për qellim rritjen e efikasitetit në ofrimin e rezultateve në luftimin e krimit të organizuar dhe korrupsionit si dhe komunikimin e tyre për publikun dhe për Komisionin Evropian, në menyrë që të dëshmohet puna në përmbushjen e kriterit për liberalizim të vizave, si dhe avancimin në procesin integrues të Kosoves në Unionin Evropian.
Si rezultat i punetorisë pritet të jetë mbledhja e koordinuar dhe harmonizuar e të dhenave statistikore që dëshmojnë punën e prokurorive dhe gjykatave si dhe uniifikimin dhe metodologjinë e mbledhjës së këtyre të dhënave. Vlenë të theksohet se do të qartësohen dhe detajohen kriteret e përzgjedhjes së top rasteve të krimit të organizuar dhe korrupsionit, që nënkupton trajtim prioritar i tyre nga prokuroritë dhe gjykatat e Kosovës, si dhe zgjidhjen e tyre në mënyrë të shpejtë dhe efikase.
