Prishtinë, 28 maj 2013 – Ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, Vlora Çitaku, priti sot në takim Ministren për Çështje Evropiane të Qeverisë Suedeze, Znj. Birgitta Ohlsson.
Gjatë takimit Ministrja Çitaku njoftoj Ministren Ohlsson për përmbushjen e kritereve afatshkurta për fillimin e negociatave për Marrëveshjen Stabilizim Asociimi (MSA) dhe për punën e vazhdueshme të institucioneve në kuadër të përgatitjeve për fillimin e negociatave për MSA. Ministrja Çitaku nënvizoj rëndësinë që ka MSA-ja për Kosovën, si mjet i ankorimit të rrugës Evropiane të Kosovës dhe inventive e qëndrueshme reformatore. Sa i përket liberalizimit të vizave, Ministrja Çitaku njoftoj Ministren Ohlsson për gjendjen e përmbushjes së udhërrëfyesit për liberalizimin e vizave, miratimin e Planit të Veprimit për Liberalizim të Vizave dhe punën e vazhdueshme të institucioneve në këtë drejtim. Ministrja Çitaku potencoj rëndësinë dhe impaktin e drejtpërdrejt që ka procesi i liberalizimit të vizave në jetën e përditshme të qytetarëve të Kosovës. Njëkohësisht, Ministrja Çitaku kërkoj që Kosova të vlerësohet strikt dhe korrekt. Po ashtu, Ministrja Çitaku njoftoj Ministren Ohlsson për gjendjen e dialogut Prishtinë – Beograd dhe zhvillimet të fundit politike në vend.
Ministrja Ohlsson shprehi përkushtimin e Qeverisë së Suedisë për agjendën Evropiane të Kosovës, dhe në këtë drejtim Suedia përkrah fillimin e negociatave të MSA-së ndërmjet Kosovës dhe Bashkimit Evropian. Ministrja Ohlsson ftoj institucionet e Kosovës që të vazhdojnë punën intensive në përmbushjen e kritereve të udhërrëfyesit dhe njëkohësisht shprehi qëndrimin e Suedisë që pas përmbushjes së kritereve Kosova do të këtë përkrahjen e fuqishme të Suedisë në kuadër të këtij procesi. Ministrja Ohlsson përgëzoj institucionet e Kosovës për marrëveshjet e arritura në kuadër të dialogut Prishtinë – Beograd.
Ministrja Çitaku, po ashtu tha se“ ne si qeveri, institucione, dhe si shoqëri jemi të përkushtuar në zbatimin e reformave që do të dërgojnë Kosovën prej dhomës së pritjes, në atë të dhomës së negocimit me Bashkimin Evropian”.
Nga ana e sajë Ministra Suedeze, Ohlsson tha se “Kosova është pjesë e familjes Evropiane dhe së bashku duhet bërë gjithçka që mundemi të promovojmë Integrimin e Kosovës në Bashkimin Evropian. Qeveria Suedeze ka qenë dhe mbetet e pranishme për të ndihmuar Kosovën në të gjitha fushat, dhe po të njëjtës rëndësi është edhe avansimi me agjendën Evropiane dhe mbesim të përkushtuar që të japim kontributin tanë. Ne jemi të informuar se shumë është duke u bërë një punë e mirë në këtë proces dhe kështu duhet vazhduar dhe njëkohësisht duhet ndërmarrë të gjitha reformat e duhura në mënyrë që procesi të ecën në ritmin e vetë, dhe për këtë kam marrë konfirmimin nga Ministrja Çitaku se kjo është duke u realizuar. Gjithashtu, çështja e Liberalizimit të Vizave mendoj se është në rrugën e duhur dhe besoj që shumë shpejtë do të arrijmë tek kjo zgjidhje”.
Ministrja Çitaku ndër të tjera falënderoi Ministren Ohlsson për përkrahjen e Qeverisë dhe popullit Suedez për zhvillimin e vendit dhe institucioneve Demokratike të vendit tonë.
