Prishtinë, 23 maj 2013 – Në radhën e takimeve të Grupit Punues për procesin e Liberalizmit të Vizave ishte Siguria dhe Rendi Publik. Gjate kësaj jave janë mbajtur të gjitha takimet e grupeve punuese për Liberalizim të Vizave, ndërsa takimi i sotëm ka adresuar bllokun e tretë që njëkohësisht njihet edhe si blloku më i rëndësishëm për liberalizim të vizave.
Gjatë këtij takimi, më në detaje u diskutua për parandalimin dhe luftimin e krimit të organizuar dhe terrorizmit; me theks të veçantë në masat e ndërmarra për zbatimin e kornizës ligjore kundër krimit të organizuar dhe korrupsionitdhe miratimin e kodeve të etikës dhe implementimin e reformës së sistemit të drejtësisë penale që përmirëson pavarësinë, efikasitetin, llogaridhënien dhe pa-anësinë e sistemit gjyqësor duke përfshirë ndarjen e resurseve të mjaftueshme për operacionalizmin e sistemit të ri të gjykatave.
Në vazhdim të takimit u diskutua Parandalimi dhe luftimi i korrupsionit dhe Bashkëpunimi në zbatimin e ligjit, apo bashkëpunimi gjyqësor për çështje penale. Si hapa në vazhdim janë vendosja e mekanizmave efektivë për parandalimin e korrupsionit dhe për identifikimin e rrezikut për korrupsion, Zbatimi i marrëveshjeve ekzistuese për bashkëpunim në fushën e zbatimit të ligjit, dhe ku është e mundshme nënshkrimi i marrëveshje të reja; si dhe zbatimi i legjislacionit ekzistues për bashkëpunim juridik ndërkombëtar në çështje penale, si dhe hapa tjera për ngritje të kapaciteteve brenda institucionale dhe koordinim më efikas me të gjithë faktorët relevant të ofrimit të sigfurisë.
Me këtë rast Ministrja Çitaku në fjalën e sajë tha se” Ju gjatë tërë kësaj kohe keni punuar me zell në zbatimin e kritereve për Liberalizim të Vizave, si dhe keni arritë rezultate të shkelqyeshme . Por, kjo nuk mjafton, dhe kërkojmë nga ju që të mbledhni forcat, të përkushtoheni dhe në muajt në vijin të tregoni potencialin tuaj,duke i zbatuar të gjitha këto kritere të mbetura që i kemi para nesh.
