Tirana, 4. oktobar 2018. – Ministarka za evropske integracije, Dhurata Hoxha, prisustvovala je sastanku ministara za evropske integracije jugoistočne Evrope koji je održan u Tirani, u organizaciji Ministarstva inostranih poslova Albanije, Saveznog ministarstva Austrije za inostrane poslove, Evropskih pitanja i integracije i nemačkog GIZ-a.
Nakon sastanka ministara za evropske integracije jugoistočne Evrope, potpisana je Deklaracija o saradnji i uzajamnoj podršci.
Najbolja praksa i uzajamna podrška u procesu integracije u EU bila je tema sednice kojom su zajednički predsedavali ministar Bushati i ministar Kneissl.
Ministarka Hoxha je govorila o informisanju javnosti i o važnosti komunikacije o vrednostima EU u regionu, perspektivi regiona u procesu integracije, saradnji i razmeni iskustava za ovaj proces. Ministarka je naglasila važnost promovisanja ljudskih prava, demokratije i vladavine prava, ali i načela EU-a, kao i ekonomskog razvoja i zapošljavanja, poslovanja, obrazovanja, osnaživanja mladih, ravnopravnosti polova i mnogih drugih oblasti koje direktno utiču na blagostanje građana.
„Želela bih da se malo zaustavim kod dela o ravnopravnosti polova, sa posebnim fokusom na promovisanje ove vrednosti. Znamo da kao sve zemlje u regionu i mi imamo probleme u pogledu ravnopravnosti polova i rešavanje ovih izazova kroz zajednički put evropskih integracija bi bio najbolji način „, istakla je ministarka Hoxha i napomenula specifične izazove kao što je polno zasnovano nasilje, niska prisutnost žena u politici i donošenju odluka, nedostatak polne integracije, polni stereotipi i diskriminacija na tržištu rada.
Mediji, politička klasa, institucije EU-a i organizacije civilnog društva, svaki od ovih aktera ima posebnu ulogu u ovom procesu, istakla je ministarka. Nedostatak koordinacije može dati kontroverzne poruke koje potom mogu odgovarati narativima anti-EU-a.
Ministarka je predložila da se izradi strategija u vezi sa regionalnom saradnjom i komunikacijom. Kosovo je zainteresovano da se ova saradnja produbljuje i ocenila da ćemo zajedno biti uspešniji u rešavanju izazova komunikacije EU-a a to je bez sumnje u interesu svih zemalja u regionu, rekla je ministarka Hoxha, izražavajući posvećenost Ministarstva za evropske integracije da bude deo zajedničkih napora za bolje strategije komunikacije.
Sastanak ministara za evropske integracije jugoistočne Evrope je zaključen potpisivanjem Deklaracije o saradnji i uzajamnoj podršci.
