Priština, 11. jul 2019. godine – U svom predavanju pred studentima Međunarodne letnje akademije Kosova 2019, ministarka za evropske integracije, Dhurata Hoxha, predstavila je buduću viziju zemlje i obavezu da se pridruži porodici naroda Evropske unije.
Ova Akademija okupila je 55 studenata sa prestižnih univerziteta iz 30 zemalja širom sveta i fokusirala se na „izgradnju mira u postkonfliktnim područjima – diplomatija, liderstvo i pregovori“.
Ministarka je rekla da je Evropska agenda program koji nas sve ujedinjuje, bez obzira na etničku, versku ili političku pripadnost. Ovo je put koji zahteva naše najjače napore da ubrzamo tempo unutrašnjih reformi.
„Dobro znamo da istorija može podeliti ljude, posebno u našem regionu. Zato moramo da stvaramo istoriju dok radimo zajedno na boljoj budućnosti. I, najbolji način da to postignemo kao pojedinačne zemlje, ali i kao region, jeste ravnopravno članstvo unutar EU“, rekla je ministarka Hoxha.
U svom govoru, ministarka Hoxha je spomenula potpisivanje SSP-a, reforme – uključujući mere za jačanje vladavine prava, jačanje ekonomskog razvoja i jačanje regionalne saradnje.
Što se tiče liberalizacije viznog režima, ona je istakla da je odluka o liberalizaciji viznog režima u rukama Saveta ministara. Vizni režim uglavnom utiče na naše mlade ljude koji su lišeni uživanja i zagrljaja evropskih vrednosti u odnosu na njihove vršnjake u regionu.
„Ukidanje viznog režima ima direktan uticaj na podsticanje ekonomije i partnerstva, promovisanje kulturnih kontakata i povećanje stručne i obrazovne razmene. Održiva perspektiva EU za zapadni Balkan ključna je za osiguranje mira i stabilnosti u regionu“, rekla je ministarka i dodala da nam je potrebna EU koja je više fokusirana na region.
Uvažavamo investicije zemalja članica EU u napredak naše zemlje i odlučni smo da nastavimo težak ali neophodan posao za reforme, istakla je ministarka Hoxha, dodajući da ćemo nastaviti naš rad na jačanju naših demokratskih institucija, promovisanju slobode govora i održavanju jednakih prava za sve naše građane, bez razlike.
