Brisel, 5. oktobar 2017 – Danas je počela sednica Komisije za stabilizaciju i pridruživanje Evropska unija – Kosovo, kojoj je predsedavala gđa Genoveva Ruiz Calavera, direktorka za zapadni Balkan, DG NEAR, EK.
U uvodnoj reči sednice Komisije, ministarka Hoxha je istakla da je ovaj prvi sastanak Komisije za stabilizaciju i pridruživanje, koji se održava nakon završetka svih sastanaka pododbora za stabilizaciju i pridruživanje, a uoči održavanja sednice Saveta u novembru.
„Proces evropskih integracija ostaje jedan od glavnih ciljeva spoljne politike Republike Kosova. Cilj našeg društva, dakle i naša dužnost kao politički predstavnici, ostaje nastavak demokratske konsolidacije, povećanje nivoa vladavine prava i poštovanje prava, kao i izgradnja funkcionalne tržišne ekonomije, odnosno rešavanje osnovnih kriterijuma za učlanjenje u EU. Mi evropske vrednosti smatramo kao naše, a naš put nije kompletan bez pridruživanja evropskoj porodici“, naglasila je ministarka Hoxha.
Ministarka Hoxha je istakla posvećenost svim procesima koji su vezani sa evropskom agendom, uključujući dinamiku sprovođenja Sporazuma o stabilizaciji i pridruživanju, završetak procesa liberalizacije viznog režima i omogućavanje slobodnog putovanja za građane Kosova u Evropskoj uniji.
„Vlada Republike Kosova u okviru njenog programa važnost sprovođenja EAR-a vidi kao jedan od ključnih prioriteta Vlade“, naglasila je ministarka.
„Vlada je na početku njenog mandata, u prvim nedeljama, uspela da ispuni nekoliko od prioriteta EAR-a. Ova dinamika rada nastaviće se i tokom 2018. godine. Izgubili smo dosta vremena, i smatram da je ovo dobro vreme da odražavamo na dostignuća, ali i da preusmerimo agendu za sledeću godinu“, istakla je ministarka Hoxha.
Sednica Komisije nastavljena je sa diskusijama o drugim oblastima, predstavljajući dostignuća i izazove prema predviđenoj agendi.
