Priština, 12. mart 2020 – Ministar za evropske integracije, g. Blerim Reka primio je danas na sastanak šefa Kancelarije Evropske banke za obnovu i razvoj (EBRD) na Kosovu, g. Neil Taylor, sa kojim je razgovarao o pomoći i podršci ove banke u energetskim, infrastrukturnim i ekološkim projektima.
Kao što je spomenuo šef Kancelarije EBRD-a na Kosovu, EBRD nastavlja i dalje da sprovodi projekte koji će od 2012. do narednih meseci ove godine dostići ukupan iznos od oko pola milijarde evra investicija iz ove banke. On je naglasio da će prioritetne oblasti koje EBRD i dalje podržava i na koje se usredsređuje za finansijsku podršku, biti one koje imaju alternativnu energiju vetra, na energetski sektor u celini, sektoru infrastrukture, kao i privatnom sektoru.
Tom prilikom je naglašeno da je EBRD zainteresovan za uravnoteženje investicija između energetskog sektora i životne sredine, za čistiju životnu sredinu na Kosovu, u funkciji praktičnog doprinosa Kosova u ispunjavanju ciljeva Evropske zelene agende u zemlji. Istovremeno, EBRD je ponudio podršku da se završi izgradnja dela kosovskog autoputa sa panevropskim koridorom 10 Merdare-Niš, kako bi bio deo transevropskih koridora.
Na kraju su se strane složile da nastave saradnju na konkretizaciji aktivnosti u funkciji sprovođenja ovih projekata.
