Në këtë takim, përfaqësues nga Zyra e Bashkimit Evropian në Prishtinë bënë prezantimin e të arriturave të MBPZHR dhe AUVK, ndërsa vëmendja kryesore ishte adresimi i sfidave të përmendura në Raportin e Studimit të Fizibilitetit për Marrëveshjen e Stabilizim Asociimit mes BE-së dhe Kosovës.
Sa i përket Sektorit të bujqësisë vëmendje të veçantë iu kushtua disa veprimeve të cilat duhet të adresohen në PVSF për 2013 si vijon: Kompletimi i FADN dhe regjistrit të fermave, përmirësimit te të dhënave statistikore, përpilimit të sëmundjeve të bimëve, mbrojtjes së tokës nga urbanizimi i pa kontrolluar, përmirësimit i infrastrukturës rurale, marketingut etj.
Sa i përket sigurisë së ushqimit, AUV duhet të ndërmerr disa veprime të cilat ndikojnë në përmirësimin e kualitetit dhe cilësisë së ushqimit sipas standardeve të BE.-s, duke i përmirësuar masat veterinare, sanitare dhe fitosanitare sa vijon: licencimin dhe kontrollimin e tregjeve të kafshëve,përmirësimin e kontrolleve për eradikimin e sëmundjeve të kafshëve, kultivimin e peshqve dhe mbrojtjes së tyre, përmirësimin e infrastrukturës ne pikat kufitare në lidhje me kontrollimin e prodhimeve të importuara,transferimin e inspektorëve veterinar, fitosanitar dhe sanitar nga komunat në kuadër të Zyrave regjionale të AUV etj.
Po ashtu u diskutua rreth furnizimit të Laboratorit të Ushqimit me pajisje adekuate si dhe ngritjes së kapaciteteve institucionale në AUV dhe MBPZHR.
