Priština, 29. mart 2017 – Danas je održan okrugli stol organizovan od strane Demokratskog Instituta Kosova (DIK) gde je učesnik u panelu bila ministarka Evropskih integracija g-đa Mimoza Ahmetaj dok su drugi panelisti bili poslanici Skupštine Kosova iz Komisije za spoljnu politiku. Tema razgovora je bila “Prekid dijaloga: Uticaj u procesu Evropske integracije Kosova “.
Prisutni su detaljno razgovarali o uticaju koji može Kosovo na njenom putu prema Evropskim integracijama ukoliko bi se dijalog između Kosovske i Srpske strane prekinuo.
Ministarka Ahmetaj je govorila o važnosti dijaloga kao jedinog načina poboljšanja susednih odnosa i rešavanja otvorenih pitanja između dve države.
Takođe, ministarka Ahmetaj je naglasila da dijalog koji se podržava od strane Evropske unije je proces unapređenja naših dveju zemalja prema Evropskim integracijama.
Lisabonski Sporazum i Solunska Konferencija su otvorile put svim državama Zapadnog Balkana da se učlane u EU. Imajući u obzir, takođe, da unutar EU-a ima i država koje su smrznutim sukobima kao što je Kipar koja ne priznaje od strane Turske, dok s druge strane ona kao država članica EU-a blokirala je Tursku u njenim pregovorima prema učlanjenju u EU.
Kako ne bi postojali drugi smrznuti sukobi učlanjivanjem novih država, EU u saradnji sa OUN-om obavezala je Kosovo i Srbiju da rešavaju sva otvorena pitanja pre učlanjivanja. Dijalog je proces koji “hrani” pregovarački proces Kosova kroz SSP, dok Srbiju kroz Poglavlje 35. Kao takav, to je dinamičan proces koji se kontinuirano ispunjuje i ažurira novim temama, rekla je pored ostalog ministarka Ahmetaj.
Ministarka Ahmetaj je istovremeno istakla da: ”Ako je aprilski sporazum imao 14 razmotrenih pitanja, ovaj sporazum će dalje razmotriti I ostala pitanja kao što su nestala lica, ratne reparacije, uzimanje bankarskih fondova naših građana, zdravstvena i socijalna osiguranja. Međutim, baviće se i drugim značajnim temama za građane Kosova.”
Treba istaknuti da je Skupština Kosova obavezala Vladu da pregovara u Briselu sa Srbijom posredovanjem EU-a i garancijom SAD-a kako bi dijalog bio što sveobuhvatniji i transparentniji uključujući u tom vremenu i opoziciju.
