Beč, 30. januar 2018 – Ministarka za evropske integracije, Dhurata Hoxha, tokom međunarodne konferencije, Com-sult, uz moto Go West – Western Balkan! koja se održava u Beču, pod pokroviteljstvom premijera Kurz, sastala se sa ministrom za inovacije i infrastrukturu, Norbert Hofer, kao i sa g. Michael Linhart, generalnim sekretarom Saveznog ministarstva za evropska pitanja, integraciju i spoljne poslove, sa kojima je razgovarala o izazovima integracije Republike Kosovo, i ovom prilikom, je zatražila podršku procesu integracija, posebno u drugom delu godine kada Austrija preuzima predsedavanje i može biti još glasnija u podršci Kosovu.
Ministarka Hoxha je naglasila, da je Austrija podržala i sada snažno podržava Kosovo u istorijskim procesima kroz koje je prolazila, ocenjujući kao veliku vrednost države prijateljstvo sa Austrijom, stoga, istakla je ona, očekujemo dalju podršku od Austrije da bude na strani interesa građana Kosova.
„Kao što ste nas neprekidno podržali, očekujemo takođe da i dalje podržavate proces integracija Kosova i zapadnog Balkana u okviru Evropske unije, sa jasnom i preciznom agendom, posebno tokom predsedavanja Austrije“, rekla je ministarka Hoxha, zatraživši od austrijskih zvaničnika da građani Kosova budu ravnopravni sa ostalim građanima Balkana u pogledu liberalizacije viznog režima.
S druge strane, Generalni sekretar i Ministar istakli su da Austrija vidi Kosovo kao deo zapadnog Balkana, u okviru procesa integracije i planova za proširenje Evropske unije, naglašavajući da će njihova zemlja biti posvećena daljem doprinosu sa neophodnim koracima za sprovođenje Strategije EU-a u zemljama Balkana. Visoki austrijski zvaničnici su zatražili da Kosovo napreduje u procesu reformi, kao i da ratifikuje sporazum o demarkaciji sa Crnom
