Prishtinë, 16 Gusht 2018 – Ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, Znj. Dhurata Hoxha, pati sot një bisedë telefonike me raportuesin e Parlamentit Evropian për Kosovën Z. Igor Sholtes, me të cilin diskutoi hapat e ardhshëm për procesin e liberalizimit të vizave duke pasur parasysh faktin se tashmë i gjithë procesi është në duart e institucioneve të BE-së pas plotësimit të kritereve nga ana e Kosovës.
Ministrja Hoxha e informoi Z. Sholtes se Kosova është duke vazhduar reformat dhe zbatimin e MSA-së dhe kërkoi që procesi i vendimmarrjes sa i përket liberalizimit të vizave të përshpejtohet.
Ministrja Hoxha theksoi se qytetarët e Kosovës e kanë të qartë se janë në prag të liberalizimit të vizave dhe po presin me padurim lëvizjen e lirë. Ministrja Hoxha po ashtu e njoftoi Raportuesin për Kosovën për fushatën e vetëdijesimit për liberalizimin e vizave të cilën e ka filluar Ministria e Integrimit Evropian, me theks të veçantë informimin e qytetareve sa i përket asaj se çka nënkupton liberalizimi i vizave si dhe sanksionet që mund të pasojnë në rast të keqpërdorimit.
Tutje, Ministrja Hoxha ofroi mbështetjen dhe bashkëpunimin e plotë të institucioneve të vendit në mënyrë që procesi i vendimmarrjes të jetë sa më i shpejtë dhe pritshmëritë e qytetarëve për lëvizjen e lirë deri në fund të vitit të plotësohen.
Në anën tjetër, Raportuesi i Parlamentit Evropian për Kosovën, Z. Sholtes e e falënderoi Ministren Hoxha për angazhimin e saj gjatë gjithë procesit dhe e siguroi se ka mbështetjen e plotë për të përshpejtuar vendimmarrjen për liberalizimin e vizave për qytetarët e Kosovës. Z. Sholtes, po ashtu e njoftoi Ministren për hapat e ardhshëm, për takimin e Komitetit LIBE më datën 29 gusht, ku liberalizimi i vizave për Kosovën do të jetë në agjendë dhe jemi optimist që të marrë dritën e gjelbër për të ecur tutje.
