Prishtinë, 16 dhjetor 2015 – Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës përshëndet miratimin e konkluzioneve për zgjerimin dhe procesin e stabilizim asocimit, përfshirë edhe për Kosovën, nga ana e Këshillit të Çështjeve të Përgjithshme të Bashkimit Evropian. Këto konkluzione vulosin faktin që Kosova ka pasur një vit të suksesshëm në aspektin e integrimit evropian, dhe rikonfirmon përkushtimin e të gjithë shteteve anëtare të BE-së për të ardhmen dhe perspektivën evropiane të Republikës së Kosovës.
E mirëpresim faktin që Këshilli e thekson nënshkrimin e MSA-së si një marrëveshje të parë gjithëpërfshirëse mes BE-së dhe Kosovës. Përshëndesim thirrjen e shteteve anëtare për të konkluduar MSA-në, që ajo të hyj në fuqi, dhe të filloj së zbatuari. Nga ana e Kosovës janë bërë të gjitha hapat ligjor dhe përgatitjet tjera të nevojshme që një gjë e tillë të ndodhë sa më shpejt, në fillimin e vitit të ardhshëm.
Sa i përket procesit të Liberalizmit të Vizave, Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës merr në konsideratë konkulzionet e Këshillit të BE-së që shpreh vullnetin dhe optimizmin e përgjithshëm të vendeve të BE-së që procesi të lëvizë përpara, duke pasur parasysh rëndësinë e përmbushjes së kushteve të parashtruara në udhërrëfyesin për liberalizim të vizave. Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës i kushton rëndësi të njëjtë përmbushjes së kushteve dhe konfirmon se të gjitha kriteret janë përmbushur në përputhje me udhërrëfyesin. Prandaj, Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës pret që liberalizimi i vizave për qytetarët e Republikës së Kosovës duhet të bëhet realitet pa vonesa të mëtutjeshme. Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës është në pritje të publikimit të raportit të fundit vlerësues të Komisionit Evropian për liberalizimin e vizave, e cili duhet të pasohet me rekomandimin për liberalizimin e vizave brenda një periudhe të shkurtër kohore. Të gjitha këto veprime janë të pashmangshme dhe do të mundësojnë që qytetarët e Kosovës të lëvizin pa viza gjatë vitit 2016.
Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës i ka parasysh konkluzionet që ndërlidhen me fushat prioritare për reforma, dhe përkushtohet që të zbatoj këto reforma në kontekstin e ri të integrimit evropian të krijuar me nënshkrimin e Marrëveshjes për Stabilizim Asocim. Presim që ky realitet i ri të krijoj kushte të nevojshme për të dinamizuar përafrimin e Kosovës me Bashkimin Evropian.
Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës njëherësh u bën thirrje shteteve anëtare dhe institucioneve të BE-së që t’i ofrojnë Kosovës të gjithë mbështetjen dhe instrumentet në dispozicion si ndihmesë për të adresuar reformat sa më shpejt të jetë e mundur. Në këtë drejtim, mirëpresim edhe thirrjen e Këshillit për të gjetur modalitete për të ecur përpara edhe me nënshkrimin e marrëveshjes kornizë për të mundësuar qasjen e Kosovës në Programe të BE-së.
Qeveria riafirmon përkushtimin ndaj bashkëpunimit rajonal dhe për zhvillimin e marrëdhënieve të mira fqinjësore me të gjitha vendet e rajonit dhe në këtë drejtim do të luaj rol aktiv në dialogun e lehtësuar nga BE për normalizimin e marrëdhënieve ndërmjet Republikës së Kosovës dhe Serbisë. Ky proces ka nevojë për një rezultat të qartë që do të siguroj normalizimin e plotë të marrëdhënieve në formën e një marrëveshje ligjërisht të detyrueshme duke i lejuar dy shteteve të ndjekin rrugën e tyre drejt BE-së, pa lënë mundësi të bllokadave për anëtarësimin në BE në të ardhmen.
Qeveria gjithashtu vlerëson thirrjen e Këshillit për të tejkaluar situatën e krijuar nga partitë opozitare dhe dënimin e dhunës dhe pengesës së punës së Kuvendit, si dhe rithekson qëndrimin që kjo situatë duhet të zgjidhet përmes një dialogu institucional në mënyrë që të ketë një fokus në zbatimin e reformave evropiane.
Në fund, Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës është e inkurajuar nga fakti që Këshilli i Çështjeve të Përgjithshme të Bashkimit Evropian ka përsëritur zotimin ndaj politikës së zgjerimit, dhe perspektivës evropiane të rajonit. Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës riafirmon përkushtimin e vetë ndaj agjendës evropiane duke përfshirë zbatimin e reformave kyçe në fushën e sundimit të ligjit, reformave ekonomike dhe reformat tjera të nënvizuara me qëllim të realizimit të anëtarësimit të Republikës së Kosovës në Bashkimin Evropian.
