Priština, 01. april 2019. – Ministarka za evropske integracije, Dhurata Hoxha, povodom trogodišnjice stupanja na snagu Sporazuma o stabilizaciji i pridruživanju (SSP) između Kosova i Evropske unije (EU) uz organizovanje Američke privredne komore učestvovala je u diskusiju, procenjujući sprovođenje SSP-a kao uspešno i veoma važno za život naših građana.
„SSP predstavlja prvi ugovorni sporazum između naše države i EU-a, čija je glavna svrha jačanje demokratije i vladavine prava, institucionalne, političke i ekonomske stabilnosti, produbljivanje ekonomskih odnosa sa zemljama EU-a, promocije međunarodne saradnje, uključujući usklađivanje našeg zakonodavstva sa zakonodavstvom EU-a, potpune tranzicije ka funkcionalnoj tržišnoj ekonomiji, postepeno stvaranje slobodnog tržišnog prostora između Kosova i EU-a kao i promovisanje regionalne saradnje, zahvaljujući ispunjenju ovih ciljeva“, je navela ministarka Hoxha.
Specifično za naš ekonomski razvoj, istakla je ministarka Hoxha, posebnu pažnju se posvećuje reformama usmerenim na poboljšanje klime poslovanja, aproksimaciji našeg zakonodavstva sa zakonodavstvom EU-a u oblasti ekonomije- između ostalog, stvaranjem preduslova za poštenu konkurenciju, povećanje stranih ulaganja, slobodno kretanje robe, pristup kosovskih preduzeća na tržište EU-a itd.
Ministarka je istakla uspeh Kosova u članstvu u međunarodnim organizacijama kao što su Svetska carinska organizacija (WCO) ili Regionalni savet za jugoistočnu Evropu (SEERC), potpisivanjem preko 131. sporazuma o saradnji u različitim oblastima koji su na snazi.
„Još jedan indirektan uticaj koje je sprovođenje SSP-a donela je i ekonomski rast. Kao ishod SSP-a, primećuje se povećanje izvoza kosovskih proizvoda, rast stranih investicija i povećanje broja novih preduzeća“, istakala je ministarka Hoxha, značajan napredak u poboljšanju poslovnog okruženja povećanjem rangiranja Kosova kao 40-ta zemlja u svetu, od ukupno 190. država.
„Takođe, Kosovo je jedina evropska zemlja među 10. najviše reformisanih država tokom ovog perioda izveštavanja“, ističe ministarka, kao i preduzimanje mera kao što su: povećanje broja tužilaca i sudija kao važni faktori za jačanje vladavine prava i povećanje budžeta za više od 65% u odnosu na budžet za 2016. godinu.
Ministarka je naglašavala blisku saradnju sa Kancelarijom EU-a, budući da Kosovo je druga zemlja na svetu (po glavi stanovnika) koja najviše dobija iz finansiranja EU-a preko više programa i predpristupnog instrumenata, dodajući da SSP je više od pokretačke snage za reforme ka evropskim integracijama, što je i naša najbolja šansa da poboljšamo život naših građana.
