Prishtinë, 23 Prill 2020 – Ministri në detyrë i Integrimit Evropian, z. Blerim Reka, në pamundësi për të realizuar takimin e planifikuar në Bruksel, sot realizoi një bisedë telefonike me Nën-Kryetarin e Parlamentit Evropian z. Rainner Wieland.
Ministri në detyrë Reka, e njoftoi z.Wieland me situatën e emergjencës shendëtesore dhe masat e ndërrmara nga Qeveria në detyrë, në luftimin e pandemisë COVID-19, me ç’rast e falënderoi për ndihmën e gjertanishme për Kosovën që ka dhuruar Bashkimi Evropian, përfshirë këtu edhe ndihmën e fundit të miratuar nga Komisioni Evropian, atë të pakos së ndihmës makro-financiare prej 100 milionë EURO për Kosovën.
Gjatë bisedës u diskutua poashtu për mbështetjen e z.Wieland dhe të parlamentarëve evropian në rrugën evropiane të Kosovës, me theks të veçantë për liberalizimin e vizave.
Në këtë bisedë, Ministri në detyrë Reka kërkoi nga Nën-Kryetari i Parlamentit Evropian z. Wieland, që ai dhe miqtë tjerë euro-parlamentarë të vazhdojnë të jenë zëri i Kosovës në këtë institucion të rëndësishëm të BE-së, sidomos tash kur nevojitet bindja e fundit e shteteve hezituese për heqjen e regjimit të vizave për qytetarët e Kosovës.
Në fund, z. Wieland nga ana e tij ri-konfirmoi mbështetjen e tij dhe të parlamentarëve evropian për Kosovën, në veçanti për liberalizimin e vizave, si dhe për perspektivën evropiane të vendit tonë, duke premtuar përkrahjen e mëtejme të Kosovës në procesin integrues Evropian.
