Prishtinë, 21 tetor 2013 – Ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, Vlora Çitaku priti në takim përfaqësuesen e rrejtit të grave Rome, Ashkali dhe Egjiptiane, nga OJQ RROGRAEK, Znj. Shpresa Agushi, me të cilën biseduan për gjendjen aktuale të grave në Kosovë, më theks të veçantë grave të komuniteteve Rom, Ashkali dhe Egjiptian, dhe përfshirjen e tyre sa më të mirë në shoqëri.
Ministrja Çitaku e falemnderoi Znj. Agushi për vizitën dhe premtoi mbështjetjen e saj përsonale për të avokuar për integrimin e grave nga komunitetet Rom, Ashkali dhe Egjiptian në shoqëri si dhe dhe krijimin e mundësive për avancimin e tyre. Ministrja Çitaku vazhdoi për të thënë se: ”Gruaja është gjithmonë mburoja e parë e cila ballafaqohet me probleme dhe turbulenca në familje apo shoqëri, dhe për këtë është e rëndësishme që ato të fuqizohen.”
Ndërsa Zonja Agushi tha se: ”Përkrahja institucionale është tejet e rëndësishme për komunitetet në përgjithësi, e vecanërisht për gratë e komuniteteve Rom, Ashkali dhe Egjiptian, pasi që ato ballafaqohen me diskriminim të trefishtë, atë brenda familjes, brenda vet komunitetit si dhe brenda shoqërisë në të cilën jetojnë”.
