Prishtinë, 18 janar 2017 – Zëvendës Ministrja për Integrim Evropian, znj. Anila Statovci-Demaj priti sot në takim një delegacion nga Austria të përbërë nga Ambasadori Austriak në Kosovë, z. Gernot Pfandler, Zëvendës Ambasadorja Austriake, znj. Vera Fuchs dhe Udhëheqësi i Zyrës së ADA (Austrian Development Agency) në Kosovë, z. Gunther Zimmer.
Me delegacionin u diskutua për punën e përbashkët të bërë gjerë tani, si dhe mundësitë e zhvillimit të këtij bashkëpunimi në të ardhmen me Qeverinë Austriake dhe me ADA.
Në takim u diskutua për thellimin e bashkëpunimit ndërmjet dy vendeve në kontekst të procesit të integrimit Evropian, ku është theksuar nga ana e Zëvendës Ministres rëndësia e implementimit sa më suksesshëm të Marrëveshjes së Stabilizim Asocimit, sikurse edhe finalizimi i procesit të liberalizimit të vizave.
Po ashtu, nga aspekti bilateral u diskutua zhvillimi i bashkëpunimit të Shoqatës së Miqësisë Kosovë –Austri dhe puna e mrekullueshme që është duke u bërë në përafrim ndërmjet dy popujve tanë dhe zhvillimi i bashkëpunimit ekonomik për të mirë të qytetarëve tanë. Me këtë rast Zëvendës Ministrja Statovci-Demaj potencoi se Kosova e çmon shumë përkrahjen e Austrisë dhe konsideron se Austria është ndër miqtë kryesorë të Kosovës në arenën ndërkombëtare.
Zëvendës Ministrja shprehu vullnetin e Qeverisë së Republikës së Kosovës për të forcuar bashkëpunimin me Austrinë në të mirën e zhvillimit të Kosovës dhe përfarimit të vendit me Bashkimin Evropian. Ambasadori i Austrisë në Kosovë, z. Gernot Pfandler i konfirmoi Zëvendës Ministres vazhdimin e përkrahjes së Austrisë për perspektivën evropiane të Kosovës dhe njëkohësisht e përgëzoi për emërimin si Zëvendësministre në Ministrinë e Integrimit Evropian, dhe premtoj përkrahje për të edhe në këtë pozitë.
