Prishtinë, 20 Shkurt 2018 –Ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, Dhurata Hoxha, mori pjesë në Konferencën “Momenti i ri për zgjerimin në BE: Çfarë mund të përfitojë Kosova?”, ku morën pjesë përfaqësues të Zyrës së Bashkimit Evropian, ambasadorë e ekspertë të integrimit evropian. Në fjalën e rastit, Ministrja theksoi perspektivën e pa-diskutueshme evropiane për Kosovën, duke ndërtuar institucionet, shtetin demokratik dhe me ekonomi të qëndrueshme.
“Sfida e parë ka qenë krijimi i institucioneve kurse sfida e vazhdueshme është reformimi dhe fuqizimi i tyre. Shpallja e pavarësisë ka sjellë një dinamikë të re dhe sigurisht sfida të tjera”, theksoi Ministrja Hoxha, duke vënë theksin te Marrëveshja e Stabilizim Asociimit me BE-në.
Ministrja e sheh si mjaft pozitive dhe moment kthese për të ardhmen e të gjitha vendeve të Ballkanit Perëndimor dhe në veçanti Kosovës Strategjinë e Zgjerimit të BE-së.
“Reformat që kërkohen nga Kosova janë substanciale dhe prekin sektorët më të rëndësishëm. Konsideroj se një nga përfitimet është fakti se BE bëri të qartë se në cilat fusha duhet fokusuar dhe cilat sektorë duhet reformuar e fuqizuar”, theksoi Ministrja.
Në këtë drejtim, theksoi Ministrja, Kosova duhet të fokusohet në fuqizimin e sundimit të ligjit, sigurinë dhe migracionin, zhvillimin social dhe ekonomik si dhe marrëdhëniet me shtetet fqinje. Të gjitha fushat në të cilat Strategjia e Komisionit Evropian kërkon fokus dhe përparim, ceku Ministrja Hoxha, janë të domosdoshme për Kosovën. Fakti se këto fusha janë përmendur shprehimisht duhet të mobilizoj institucionet e Kosovës për punë më intensive për reforma si dhe zotimi se BE do të ndihmojë vendet e Ballkanit Perëndimor në realizimin e reformave të kërkuara dhe fuqizimin e sektorëve të përcaktuar.
Kjo Strategji thotë se BE nuk do të importoj probleme, që është një mesazh për Serbinë se duhet vazhduar dialogu me rezultate konkrete dhe nuk do të mund të anëtarësohet në BE pas zgjidhur problemin me Kosovën, vuri në dukje Ministrja dhe se Serbia duhet ta kuptojë se dialogu do të përmbyllet vetëm me një marrëveshje të pranueshme nga të dy palët.
“Të gjitha detyrat që ne duhet t’i kryejmë, janë të përcaktuara në MSA dhe Agjendën Evropiane për Reforma dhe Programin për Reforma ekonomike. Ne vetëm duhet t’i zbatojmë këto dhe sa më shpejtë që këtë e bëjmë, aq më shpejtë ecim përpara drejt anëtarësimit në BE”, theksoi Ministrja Hoxha, duke vënë në dukje se vetëm kështu i shërbejmë qytetarëve tanë dhe vetëm kështu do të bëhemi pjesë e BE-së, aty ku e kemi vendin.
