Prishtinën 19 Qershor 2018 – Ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, Dhurata Hoxha, në interpelancën kuvendore, rreth zbatimit të Marrëveshjes së Stabilizim Asociimit (MSA) për tremujorin e fundit 2017 dhe tremujorin e parë të vitit 2018, dhe me këtë rast theksoi se Procesi i integrimit Evropian është karakterizuar me një dinamikë progresive viteve të fundit.
“MSA ka hyrë në fuqi, duke krijuar nga një anë obligimet kontraktuale ndërmjet Kosovës dhe BE-së, dhe nga ana tjetër duke përfaqësuar themelet e anëtarësimit tonë në BE. Jemi në prag të liberalizimit të vizave për qytetarët e Kosovës. Kosova tani më është pjesë e Programeve të BE-së në nivelin e barabartë me të gjitha shtetet e Ballkanit Perëndimor. BE-ja dhe Kosova kanë dakorduar asistencë zhvillimore për të përkrahur sundimin e ligjit, zhvillimin ekonomik dhe rritjen e mirëqenies qytetarëve në vlerë prej 645 milion euro për periudhën 2014-2020”, theksoi Ministrja Hoxha.
Kjo marrëveshje ndërkombëtare është më e rëndësishmja dhe më gjithëpërfshirësja që ka lidhur ndonjëherë Kosova dhe ka vendosur kornizën e marrëdhënieve tona me shtetet anëtare të BE-në dhe institucionet e saj, theksoi Ministrja Hoxha si dhe mekanizmat dhe afatet zyrtare për reformat që në mënyrë progresive do ta përafrojnë Kosovën me standardet e BE-së, do të krijojnë stabilitet politik e institucione demokratike, dhe do ta bëjnë ekonominë e saj të integruar në BE dhe të aftë për të përballuar forcat e tregut dhe presionin e konkurrencës brenda tregut të brendshëm të BE-së.
“MSA mbulon të gjitha sferat e qeverisjes, në kuadër të 144 neneve, të ndarë në dhjetë tituj, si dhe në shtatë shtojca, pesë protokolle dhe një deklaratë të përbashkët”, theksoi në fjalimin e saj Ministrja Hoxha.
