Prishtinë, 23 shkurt 2017 – Ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, znj. Mimoza Ahmetaj, prezantoi para Komisionit Parlamentar për Stabilizim Asociim (KPSA) dhe Këshillit të Stabilizim Asociimit (KSA), progresin në kuadër të procesit të liberalizimit të vizave dhe zbatimin e Agjendës Evropiane të Reformave.
Sa i përket procesit të liberalizimit të vizave, Komisioni Evropian ka konfirmuar progresin e konsiderueshëm të arritur në kuadër të përmbushjes së kriterit për luftimin e korrupsionit dhe në këtë drejtim Ministrja Ahmetaj potencoi se: “Ekipi i vecantë për luftë kundër korrupsionit ka shenjëzuar 34 raste dhe ka ngritur 26 aktakuza. Njëkohësisht, jemi në proces të rekrutimit të 61 gjyqëtarëve dhe rritjes së kapaciteve në kuadër të Prokurorisë Speciale.”
Agjenda Evropiane e Reformave është lansuar në nëntor 2016, kjo Agjendë përmban 22 prioritete kyçe që duhet përmbushur në vitin 2017 në këto fusha: Qeverisja e mirë dhe Sundimi i Ligjit, rritja e Konkurrueshmërisë, Punësimi dhe Arsimi.
Ministrja Ahmetaj njoftoi pjesëmarrësit se elementet kyçe për të cilat nevojitet konsensus i gjerë politik në kuadër të zbatimit të Agjendës Evropiane të Reformave janë: Miratimi i Ligjit për Parandalimin e Konfliktit të Interesit, Miratimi i legjislacionit për pezullim apo largimin e zyrtarëve publik të cilët kanë aktakuzë apo janë të dënuar për vepra të korrupsionit, Publikimi dhe Auditimi i financave të partive politike, Plotësim ndryshim i Ligjit për Financimin e Partive Politike dhe Emërimet Bazuar në Meritë në bordet e ndërmarrjeve publike, Shërbim Civil dhe Institucione të Pavarura.
Ministrja Ahmetaj theksoi se: ”Progresi në kuadër të zbatimit të Agjendës Evropiane të Reformave do të jetë drejtëpërdrejtë i lidhur me avancimin e mëtutjeshëm të Kosovës në kuadër të procesit integrues.”
