Prishtinë, 04 Maj 2020 – Sot, Ministri në detyrë i Integrimit Evropian z.Blerim Reka, zhvilloi një bisedë telefonike me Ministren Federale Austriake për BE dhe për Kushtetutën znj. Karoline Edtstadler. Në këtë bisedë me Ministren e Austrisë, fillimisht, u këmbyen informatat mbi gjendjen e pandemisë COVID-19 në të dy shtetet, ku u konstatua përmirësimi i gjendjes në këto dy vende. Njëherit, u bisedua për procesin integrues të Kosovës në Bashkimin Evropian, sidomos për liberalizimin e vizave për Kosovën. Duke i’u falëderuar Austrisë për mbështetjen tradicionale të rrugës evropiane të Kosovës, Ministri Reka i kërkoi Ministres Edtstadler, që si shtet mik i Kosovës, t’i bindë shtetet e pakta hezituese për heqjen e vizave për qytetarët e Kosovës, si në prag të Samitit të Zagrebit të BE me vendet e Ballkanit Përendinmor, poashtu edhe gjatë samitit të rregullt të Këshillit Evropian në qershor 2020. Nga ana e saj, Ministrja Edstadaler ri-konfirmoi përkrahjen austriake për Kosovën në procesin integrues dhe në veçanti për liberalizimin e vizave, sepse siç tha ajo, po shihet qartë përparimi në fushën e sundimit të ligjit, luftës kundër korrupsionit dhe luftën kundër krimit të organizuar. Ministrja Edtstadler tha se Kosova do ta ketë mbështetjen e Austrisë në këtë proces.
