Prishtinë 15 maj 2014 – Ministrja e Integrimit Evropain Vlora Çitaku, priti në takim njohës shefen e re të Zyrës Ndërlidhëse të Greqisë në Prishtinë, Ambasadoren, Konstantina Athanassiadou, me të cilën biseduan për marrdhënjet ndërmjet dy vendeve tona dhe rajonit, bashkëpunimin reciprok dhe koordinimin në çështje të rëndësishme si agjenda Evropiane. Gjatë takimit, ministrja Çitaku dhe ambasadorja Athanassiadou rikonfirmuan angazhimin dhe mbështetjen e dy vendeve për avancimin e relacioneve bilaterale në dimension politik, ekonomik, tregtar dhe shoqëror. Ministrja Çitaku, pasi e njoftoi ambasadoren për progresin vazhdueshëm që po arrihet në Kosovë në të gjitha fushat, theksoi se Greqia është partner i rëndësishëm i Kosovës dhe fqinj rajonal i saj.“Kosova çmon mbështetjen që Greqia ka dhënë dhe po jep në ndërtimin e perspektivës euroatlantike të vendit tonë”, tha minstrja Çitaku. Poashtu, ministrja rikonfirmoi se dy vendet tona po trajtojnë reciprokisht relacionet me respekt dhe përkushtim të madh. Ministrja Çitaku dhe ambasadorja Athanassiadou, shprehën angazhimin e përbashkët për fuqizimin e mëtutjeshëm të raporteve ndërmjet Greqisë dhe Kosovës. Diskutimet gjithashtu u fokusuan edhe në përfundimin e negociatave për Marrëveshjen e Stabilizim Asociimit si dhe për bashkëpunimin ndërmjet Kosovës dhe Greqisë në fusha të interest të përbashkët. Ndër të tjera, ambasadorja Athanassiadou tha se do të angazhohet për vazhdimin dhe avancimin e bashkëpunimit që ka kjo zyrë me institucionet e Kosovës.
