Bruksel, 16 shtator 2014 – Në Bruksel u mbajt takimi koordinues ndërmjet Qeverisë së Kosovës dhe Komisionit Evropian në kuadër të finalizimit të Raportit të Progresit 2014.
Gjatë takimit, u diskutuan të gjeturat dhe rekomandimet e draft Raportit të Progresit për vitin 2014. Në veçanti u diskutua progresi dhe sfidat në kuadër të kritereve politike, ekonomike dhe standardeve Evropiane. Diskutim i veçantë u zhvillua rreth procesit të miratimit të MSA-së dhe përmbushjes së kritereve afatmesme të Studimit të Fizibilitetit.
Poashtu, gjatë ditës u mbajt edhe takimi teknik në kuadër të procesit të liberalizimit të vizave, me ç’rast delegacioni i Kosovës ka prezantuar draft Planin e Veprimit për zbatimin e rekomandimeve të raportit të fundit të Komisionit Evropian.
Komisioni Evropian vlerësoj lartë efikasitetin dhe efektivitetin e institucioneve të Kosovës në kuadër të përgatitjes së Planit të Veprimit dhe dy delegacionet u dakorduan që institucionet e Kosovës tani të fokusohen në zbatimin e Planit të Veprimit dhe rrjedhimisht deri në fund të vitit të dorëzojn raportin e vlerësues mbi zbatimin e Planit të Veprimit.
Delegacioni i Kosovës ka qenë i udhëhequr nga z. Gëzim Kasapolli, u.d. Ministër i Integrimit Evropian, ndërsa aj i BE-së nga z. Jean-Eric Paquet, Drejtor për Ballkanin Perendimor, Drejtorati i Përgjithshëm i Zgjerimit në Komisionin Evropian dhe z. Ioan-Dragos Tudorache, Shef i Njësisë për Çështjet Ndërkombëtare, Drejtorati i Përgjithshëm për Çështje të Brendshme në Komisionin Evropian.
