Prishtinë, 23 prill 2014 – Sot, nën organizimin e Ministrisë së Integrimit Evropian, u mbajt takimi inciues për programimin e Instrumentit të Para Anëtarësimit (IPA) 2014. Gjatë periudhës 2014-2020, Bashkimi Evropian do të ofron afro 500 milion euro asistencë për Kosovën. Strategjia Kombëtarë për Asistencen e BE-së për periudhën 2014-2020 ka identifikuar 6 prioritete kyçe për Kosoven: 1. Sundimin e ligjit dhe drejtat fundamentale; 2. Reforma e administrates publike; 3. Energjia; 4. Kokurrenca dhe inovacioni; 5. Punësimi dhe politikat sociale; 6. Bujqësia dhe siguria e ushqimit. Në fjalën hyrëse, Ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, znj. Vlora Çitaku, tha: “Kosova është në fazën finale të negociimit të Marrëveshjes së Stabilizim Asociimit dhe përmbylljes së procesit të liberalizimit të vizave. Sidoqoftë, edhe shumë sfida dhe reforma na presin përpara. Zbatimi i këtyre reformave nuk do të jetë i lehtë – do të jetë politikisht sfidues, teknikisht i vështirë dhe financiarisht i kushtueshëm. Por në këtë rrugëtim nuk jemi të vetmuar. Bashkimi Evropian në vazhdimësi ka mbështetur rrugëtimin tonë drejt zbatimit të reformave të rëndësishme shtet-ndërtuese dhe integruese. 500 milion EURO mund të duken shumë, por në fakt janë një shumë e vogël krahasuar me nevojat e vendit tonë. Prandaj, shpenzimi i këtyre mjeteve duhet bërë në koordinim të plotë me buxhetin e Republikes së Kosovës dhe donacionet e tjera të partnerëve ndërkombëtarë.” Ndërsa, Përfaqësuesi Special i Bashkimit Evropian në Kosovë, z. Samuel Žbogar, tha: “Strategjia Kombëtarë për Asistencen e BE-së e zhvilluar së bashku me Qeverinë e Kosovës ofron një kornizë për ndihmën tonë për shtatë vitet e ardhshme, periudhat 2014-2020. Strategjia është e bazuar në një qasje më të strukturuar dhe e bazuar në rezultate, ku mbështetja jonë do të përqëndrohet në zbatimin e strategjive sektoriale të cilat Kosova i ka miratuar ose do ti miratoj gjatë kësaj periudhe.” Gjatë muajit prill, maj dhe qershor do të vazhdon puna teknike e institucioneve shtetërore në finalizimin e projekt propozimeve për programimin e projekteve në vlerë prej 70 milion euro. Ndërsa, projektet do të fillojn të zbatohen në vitin 2015.
