Prishtinë, 4 tetor 2013 – Sot, nën organizimin e Ministrisë së Integrimit dhe me pjesëmarrjen e Kryeministrit Z. Hashim Thaçi, u mbajt takimi i Komitetit Drejtues për Liberalizim të Vizave.
Në fjalën hyrëse, Kryeministri i Kosovës Z. Thaçi tha: “Sot për ju kam vetëm një mesazh, të ruajmë integritetin e procesit të liberalizimit të vizave dhe MSA-së. Sot, jo rastësisht ju kemi ftuar, ju të cilët keni nderin dhe përgjegjësinë që të bartni mbi supet tuaja dy procese të rëndësishme, atë të liberalizimit të vizave dhe të nënshkrimit të MSA-së. Sot për ju kam vetëm një mesazh, pra të ruajmë integritetin e këtyre dy proceseve. Me asnjë çmim nuk do të lejojmë që fushata zgjedhore, të ndikojë në uljen e përkushtimit dhe angazhimin për këto dy procese jetike për qytetarët e Kosovës. Vjeshta është vendimtare për këto dy procese dhe kërkoj një angazhim maksimal prej të gjithëve. Me vizitën e Komisionarit për Zgjerim më 18 tetor, edhe formalisht fillon negocimi i MSA-së, ndërkohë, që brenda pak javësh presim misione tjera vlerësuese për përmbushjen e kritereve për liberalizimin e vizave. Posaçërisht dua t’ju drejtohem ministrave që janë të përfshirë në këto dy procese. Për ju, liberalizimi i vizave dhe MSA-ja, duhet të jenë prioritet absolut. Kërkoj që me asnjë çmim, vëmendja juaj të mos përqendrohet në fushatën për zgjedhjet lokale. Detyra juaj parësore është që të siguroheni që secili zyrtar që ka detyrime në këtë proces, të jetë i angazhuar maksimalisht. E ju, me angazhimin tuaj, duhet të jeni shembull për të gjithë. Kërkoj nga ministrja Çitaku dhe gjithë që janë të angazhuar në këtë proces, që rregullisht të më raportojnë për ecurinë e këtyre dy proceseve. Ky duhet të jetë prioritet juaji i parë, ndërsa, natyrisht duhet të vazhdojmë me zgjedhjet, por prioriteti i parë është angazhimi për procesin e liberalizimit të vizave dhe MSA-ja”.
Ndërsa, gjatë takimit Ministrja Çitaku tha: “Gjatë kësaj jave kemi marrë konfirmimin nga Komisioni Europian për përgatitjet që janë duke i ndërmarrë në Bruksel për misionet vlerësuese për procesin e liberalizimit të vizave. Datat e sakta jemi duke i diskutuar por pritet që misionet vlerësuese do të ndodhin gjatë muajit Nëntor dhe do të mbulojnë: Riatdhesimin, Ri-integrimin; Sigurinë e dokumenteve; dhe sipas të gjitha gjasave do të vlerësojnë edhe Migrimin dhe Azilin. Misionet do të zhvillohen nga ekspertë të fushës të përzgjedhur nga Shtete anëtare të BE-së dhe zyrtarë të Komisionit Europian. Ata do të qëndrojnë në Kosovë për disa ditë dhe gjatë asaj kohe do të takohen me zyrtarë të Institucioneve të Kosovës, Organizatave ndërkombëtare që veprojnë në Kosovë, përfaqësuesve të Shoqërisë Civile etj, me ç’rast do të analizojnë zbatimin e kritereve për liberalizim të vizave. Ajo që është e rëndësishme është që ne të jemi të përgatitur dhe të jemi të gatshëm që t’i presim këta zyrtarë sa më mirë që të jetë e mundur, kjo do të thotë që është e rëndësisë më të madhe që deri atëherë të kemi një zbatim sa më të mirë të kritereve për liberalizim të vizave dhe të siguroheni që stafi juaj më i përgatitur, me njohuri sa më të mira për ta prezantuar punën që është bërë nga institucionet relevante, ata duhet ta njohin legjislacionin vendor, sipas mundësisë të kenë njohuri solide edhe të legjislacionit të BE-së si dhe të gjuhës angleze. Pra me fjalë tjera na nevojiten zyrtarët më të mirë që i kemi ti takojnë këta zyrtarë dhe të prezantojnë rastin e Kosovës sa më mirë që të jetë e mundur.”
