Prishtinë 15 Maj 2019 – Ministrja e Integrimit Evropian, Dhurata Hoxha, ka përkrahur iniciativën për ndërtimin e Muzeut të gjenocidit dhe Memorialit të Dëbimit te Stacioni i trenit në Prishtinë, dhe me këtë rast ka deklaruar se “duke dokumentuar memorien tonë kolektive, ne i kontribuojmë së vërtetës dhe hapim rrugë për pajtim dhe paqe të qëndrueshme”.
Ministrja ka shkruar po ashtu se “rikujtimi i së kaluarës shërben si referencë e fuqishme që e ardhmja jonë të ndërtohet në paqe dhe e kaluara e dhimbshme të mos përsëritet më”.
Ja postimi i plotë i Ministres Hoxha në rrjetin social:
“Rikujtimi i së kaluarës shërben si referencë e fuqishme që e ardhmja jonë të ndërtohet në paqe dhe e kaluara e dhimbshme të mos përsëritet më.
Përmes rikujtimit, ne njohim sakrificën që populli ynë përjetoi gjatë okupimit serb, duke qenë të privuar nga të drejtat dhe liritë themelore, për dekada me radhë.
Ndërtimi i Muzeut të Gjenocidit serb, do të mundësoj dokumentimin e një ndër periudhave më të errëta të historisë sonë, atë të luftës së 1998-1999.
Memoriali i Dëbimit te Stacioni i trenit, sjell në kujtesë pamjet ku mijëra qytetarë u dëbuan, me qëllim të mos kthehen kurrë.
Duke dokumentuar memorien tonë kolektive, ne i kontribuojmë së vërtetës dhe hapim rrugë për pajtim dhe paqe të qëndrueshme.”
