Minister çitaku hosted a meeting with the ambassador of portugal in budapest, non-resident for kosova mr. antonio jorge –mendes

Prishtina 04 December, 2012 – Minister of European Integration of the Republic of Kosova, Vlora Çitaku hosted an introductory meeting with the recent appointed Ambassador of Portugal in Budapest, non-resident for the Republic of Kosova Mr. Antonio Jorge -MENDES.

Throughout the meeting, minister Çitaku informed Mr. Jorge –MENDES about the European integration process, launch of Feasibility Study, Stabilization and Association agreement, and the Visa liberalization Roadmap.

Minister Çitaku guaranteed the Portuguese diplomatist that the Government of Kosova will continue to be engaged on its journey towards Europe and fulfilling of the set criteria. The European Integration is one of the main priorities for Kosova, and that the whole institutional potential is focused on a faster advance in this direction.

In the other hand, Mr. Jorge- MENDES thanked Minister Çitaku for the meeting and promised that Portugal will continue to give its support in all the processes that Kosova is going through. He highly appraised the commitment of the Government of Kosova towards the European integration as well.
