Office for the Coordination of the Stabilisation and Association Process

The Office for the Coordination of the Stabilisation and Association Process is an organisational unit of the Office of the Prime Minister in charge of coordination of the stabilisation and association process, namely planning and monitoring of policies for implementation of European integration reforms, reporting to the European Union (EU) on their implementation, as well as the reform dialogue with the EU and national inter-institutional coordination structures for European integration.

The Office for the Coordination of the Stabilisation and Association Process exercises these functions through coordination of drafting of the main national documents for implementation of EU integration reforms and monitoring of their implementation.

This office also coordinates the reform dialogue with the EU by providing professional support to the functioning of the EUKosova Stabilisation and Association Committee and the Stabilisation and AssociationCouncil (under the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora), the Ministerial Council for European Integration and the Working Committee for European Integration as national inter-institutional coordination structures for European integration, as well as negotiation structures for EU membership.

The Office for the Coordination of the Stabilisation and Association Process also coordinates regular reporting to the European Commission on implementation of EU integration reforms.

The following divisions are part of the Office for the Coordination of the Stabilisation and Association Process:

Division of Horizontal Coordination of the Stabilisation and Association Process; and
Division of Institutional Coordination.
