Following the publication of feasibility study on October 10th, Ministerial Council for European Integration under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo Mr. Hashim Thaçi, urged from all responsible institutions for their maximum commitment in addressing findings of Feasibility Study for the purpose of negotiation and implementation of Stabilisation and Association Agreement.
In this context, during 2 months of an intensive course of work, under the coordination of the Ministry of European Integration, line institutions have programmed about 200 different measures and activities in order to address recommendations of the Feasibility Study for negotiation and implementation of Stabilization and Association Agreement.
Action Plan consists of narrative part which describes the current legislative and institutional situation as well as the capacities for strategic planning and implementation of policies. Also, Action Plan provides sector analysis of key challenges for future which shall be met and at the same time introduces measures and activities to be undertaken within the sector.
The table part of the Action Plan presents in details all the objectives, actions and indicators which shall be met within the set deadlines and with clear institutional responsibilities. The Action Plan is aligned with the annual work plan of the Government 2013, Legislative Strategy Proposal and the budget proposal of 2013.
Finalization of the Action Plan for the Stabilization and Association Agreement during the today’s meeting of the Working Committee for the European Integration has opened the path for the approval of this document in the regular meeting of the Government by the end of this month.
