Prishtina, 9 September 2016 Minister of European Integration Mr. Bekim Çollaku held a press conference wherein he announced about his request to be released from duty as Minister of European Integration, which has been approved by the Prime Minister. From the moment of his appointment as the Minister of European integration in December 2014, Çollaku, had set two main priorities which are part of the Government Programme 2015-2018.
First priority was the establishment of the contractual relations with the European Union (EU) by signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), while the second priority was the conclusion of meeting the criteria for visa liberalization.
While the first priority has been successfully implemented and the first results on implementation of SAA have started to take shape, the second priority is in its final stage of decision-making within the EU institutions.
On this occasion the entire staff of the Ministry of European Integration, wishes success to Mr.Çollaku in his next engagement.
