Prishtina, 2 October 2018 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, presented two overviews at the Government Meeting to approve in principle the amendment-supplement of the Financial Agreement for IPA 2012 between Kosovo and the EU and the Financial Agreement for IPA 2013 between Kosovo and the EU.
After the presentations, Prime Minister Haradinaj put the proposals to vote and the two proposals of Minister Hoxha were unanimously approved.
“The financial agreement for IPA 2012 and IPA 2013 needs an amendment- supplement in order to extend its implementation deadline due to some contractual delays that require these agreements to have additional implementation deadlines, as required by EU Office in Kosovo. All other provisions of these agreements will remain unaffected “, said Minister Hoxha.
For these amendments, agreement has been reached with the European Commission and we are now awaiting approval from our side, noted Minister Hoxha and called for the requests to be approved and immediately afterwards all the procedures will be finalized to conclude the agreement as soon as possible and to implement it according to mutual accord.
