Prishtina, 28 September 2017 – The Minister of European Integration, Ms. Dhurata Hoxha, met with the Head of Luxembourg Embassy in Kosovo, Ms. Anne Dostert.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation within Kosovo’s European integration process, with special emphasis on implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, Visa liberalisation, and Kosovo’s access to EU programs.
Minister Hoxha and Ms. Dostert discussed the implementation of Luxembourg’s assistance in Kosovo. Luxembourg is supporting Kosovo’s institutions in education, healthcare and water sector. Projects amounting to EUR 22.5 million are being implemented in these sectors, whereas during the period 2017-202 will be launched projects amounting to EUR 30 million.
Additionally, Minister Hoxha placed particular emphasis on the support to the European integration process, whereby it is foreseen the implementation of a technical assistance project for building capacities in implementing the SAA, namely the nine chapters identified as primary.
Finally, Ms. Dostert, emphasised Luxembourg’s on-going commitment to the process of Kosovo’s European integration and extended her support with regard to specific reforms in education, healthcare and water sector.
