Prishtina, 29 September 2017 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha hosted in a meeting the Head of Greece Liaison Office in Kosovo, Constantina Athanassiadou and the topic of discussion was deepening and expansion of cooperation.
Minister Hoxha thanked Ambassador Athanassiadou for the continuous assistance provided by Greece regarding European agenda as well as the state-building and security of our country.
“Greece has the readiness to support Kosovo’s involvement in regional and international initiatives so that Kosovo can be fully integrated in regional and international issues”, said Minister Hoxha, as well as the support for implementation of SAA, European Reform Agenda, coordination and preparation for EU programs and the visa liberalization process.
Minister Hoxha expressed the commitment to deepen the bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Greece not only in the field of integration, but also within the bilateral cooperation and regional initiatives.
“For the purpose of contributing to peace and regional development, Greece has supported Kosovo’s integration in regional initiatives and has supported the advancement of Kosovo on its path to European integration. Greece is an important regional factor for peace and Euro-integration process”, said Minister Hoxha.
Ambassador Athanassiadou emphasized Greece’s continued commitment and unreserved support to Kosovo’s integration path and promised support for the future, within the reforms envisaged with the European agenda.
