Minister Çitaku appreciated thus far cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania, emphasizing the need for further expanding and deepening this cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.
Minister Çitaku said that Kosovo has made significant progress on its European path, establishing a legal and comprehensive state, building good neighbourly relations with all countries of the Balkan region.
Minister Çitaku highly appreciated the cooperation with Albania, stressing the interest of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to open new paths of cooperation with the Republic of Albania as a friend of Kosovo, in intensifying joint work toward integration into the European Union.
She noted that Albania can help Kosovo, through the exchange of experiences, to achieve standards and fulfil the criteria for membership in NATO and the European Union.
Arta Dade, Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, appreciated the progress achieved in Kosovo.
She expressed the commitment of the Government of Albania to assist Kosovo institutions in the reforms process towards integration into the European Union and the North-Atlantic Alliance
