Prishtina, 29 July 2016, – The Deputy Minister of MEI, Mr. Ramadan Ilazi, Deputy Minister of MLGA, Mr. Bajram Gecaj, and Deputy Minister of MESP, Mr. Ferat Shala, today hosted in Prishtina the high delegation from the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, led by Mr. Arber Ademi, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, Ms. Shiret Elezi, Minister of Local Self-Government, and Mr. Bashkim Ahmeti, Minister of Environment and Physical Planning.
During the meeting, they discussed the progress made in the European agenda by both countries, and the mutual cooperation in the field of EU legislation, implementation of the SAA, and implementation of EU funds, in particular. Moreover, the two delegations discussed about the potential of cooperation between the countries within the implementation of cross border funds or Cross Border Cooperation (CBC).
Both delegations highly praised the political and technical cooperation between the two governments and gave their full political support to further intensification of the exchange of information and experiences
