Today, the first meeting was held in Brussels within the framework of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, which captures the figure of 6 billion euros in the form of grants and loans for all the countries of the Western Balkans.
The Growth Plan for the Western Balkans is based on 4 main pillars: increasing economic integration with the European Union Market, increasing economic integration within the Western Balkans through the Common Regional Market, accelerating fundamental reforms and increasing financial assistance.
Today, in a meeting with representatives of the European Commission, the first deputy prime minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, together with the delegation, discussed the reforms that the Government will undertake as part of its reform agenda. , which will serve as a prerequisite for benefiting from the funds from the growth plan.
These reforms will be part of several priority pillars including: public administration, private sector development and business environment improvement, energy and green transition, human capital and rule of law.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to taking the necessary actions to fulfill these reforms, in order to get the maximum benefit from this plan.
The Kosovo delegation also consisted of the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli and the Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu.
