During the EU accession process, Kosovo will be obliged to translate around 200,000 pages of EU legislation in official languages of the Republic of Kosovo.
In this regard, the Memorandum of Cooperation foresees the cooperation among institutions through:
– Training of the staff and students in using translation software systems, from the Master program of Translation, Faculty of Philology;
– Admission of students to conduct internship within the Division of Translation and Terminology of Acquis, at the Ministry of European Integration; and
– Cooperation in creating a database of terminology for translation by using various dictionaries and glossaries.
At this meeting, Minister Çollaku and Rector Zejnullahu discussed also about the process of Kosovo’s membership in EU and about the latest developments at the University of Prishtina.
