Minister of European Integration Vlora Çitaku held a meeting with UK Ambassador in Prishtina Mr. Jan Cliff.

In the meeting, it was also discussed about the conclusion of negotiations for Stabilization and Association Agreement and the future steps towards successful conclusion of visa liberalization process, regional cooperation and improvement of neighbor relations as a criteria for advancement towards European integration.

Minister Çitaku urged the continuation of United Kingdom’s support in Euro-Atlantic integration processes of the Republic of Kosovo, Minister Çitaku  also received confirmation for British support in the visa liberalization process for citizens of Kosovo, it was also discussed about the visit of the Experts of the Assessment Mission, which are staying this week in Kosovo, in order to watch closely how far the conditions that emerged from the roadmap of visa liberalization for Kosovo were fulfilled.

During the meeting it was discussed also about the bilateral relations between the two countries as well as regarding the empowerment of British investments in Kosovo.

On his behalf Ambassador Cliff stated that: “United Kingdom will continue to help Kosovo on its path towards full integration in European Union, and the relations between our countries will be strengthened even further”

At the end, Minister Çitaku thanked the Ambassador of United Kingdom for their continuous support for Republic of Kosovo
