Prishtina, 20 September 2017 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, attended a joint meeting between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, with the EU ambassadors to Kosovo.
Upon this meeting, it was discussed over current developments in Kosovo, and particular emphasis was placed on the key priorities within the European agenda such as Stabilization and Association Agreement implementation level, the European Reform Agenda, known as ‘ERA’, and EU programs. Also herein it was highlighted the readiness of institutions in implementing activities in framework of Visa Liberalization process.
Upon this meeting, Minister Hoxha outlined the importance of coordination with the EU Office and the Member States during Kosovo’s progress in European agenda.
“One year following the entry into force of the SAA, a remarkable progress has been made in SAA implementation, particularly on the establishment of institutional frameworks for the purpose of more efficient implementation of the National Plan for the Implementation of SAA for the following period”, stated Minister Hoxha.
Inter alia, Minister Hoxha urged for promotion of good governance and strengthening of rule of law.
“Promoting good governance and strengthening rule of law shall be our priority so that Kosovars will not continue to be isolated,” stated Minister Dhurata Hoxha.
Ambassadors of EU Member States, accredited in Kosovo, praised the commitment of the Ministry of European Integration and Kosovo institutions in pushing forward the European agenda.
