Minister Hoxha met with Christian Danielsson, expressing disappointment over the delays in visa liberalization

Brussels, 4 December 2018 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, is attending the high-level meeting in Brussels, under the organization of “Friends of Europe”, with the theme “EU-Western Balkans: Enlargement, Integration and Transformation Challenges “.

In this meeting, through interactive discussions have attended heads of various European Union institutions and of the aspiring countries for integration from the Western Balkans.

Minister Hoxha, after the discussion, met Christian Danielsson, General Director of the European Commission for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and expressed the deep concern of the institutions and citizens of Kosovo, following the preannouncement for delays in visa liberalization, which Kosovo citizen have been waiting for, despite the fulfillment of the 95 conditions from the roadmap.

Minister Hoxha stressed that EU institutions should treat in the same way Western Balkan countries, because, according to her, all countries have the same problems and challenges, Kosovo makes no difference, even many areas that are assessed in the integration process but also from the visa liberalization roadmap, Kosovo stands very well.
