Minister Hoxha meets Danielsson, integration process is a major priority of institutions of the country

Prishtina, 15 February 2018 – Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, met today with the Director General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of European Commission, Christian Danielsson, where they discussed about achievements and challenges of integration process.

Minister Hoxha stated the Enlargement Strategy defined the European perspective of Kosovo and that “we have confirmed that the integration process is a major priority of all institutions of the country, SAA implementation and European Reform Agenda”.

“As a country, we have taken tasks in this process which have become daily work of our institutions. Rule of law, citizen welfare, good governance, increase of local companies competitiveness, but also other SAA chapters are tasks of our institutions which should be completed as soon as possible. We expect that our work will be appraised, we have no other alternative but European perspective; therefore, we will intensify our work towards completing our tasks and SAA implementation”, stated Minister Hoxha.

Mr. Danielsson, Director General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of European Commission, stated that he appraises the work conducted in Kosovo, but institutions should intensify the work for SAA implementation and European Reform Agenda.
