Minister Hoxha in Paris meets with Minister for European Affairs, Ms. Nathalie Loiseau, urging for support on visa liberalization

Paris, 30 May 2018 – Today the Minister of European Integration, Ms. Dhurata Hoxha, has meet in the Palace d’Orsey, Paris, with the Minister of European Affairs, Ms. Nathalie Loiseau, with whom she discussed the integration process, visa liberalization and France’s support to this process.

Minister Hoxha emphasized that Kosovo has already fulfilled the criteria set forth for visa liberalization, and therefore we expect, as the minister highlighted, commitment of our friend, France, in supporting the free movement of our citizens, the integration process and Kosovo’s integration in international bodies.

“During today’s meetings, particularly with Minister Loiseau, I have urged France’s support to our country. Kosovo and its citizens are blessed to have Frances friendship and its global influence for Kosovo, particularly in the EU.

Therefore, today I urged for France’s support to the integration processes and visa liberalization, through the Minister for European Affairs, before the EU institutions”, stated Minister Hoxha. Also, Minister Hoxha requested France’s support in the view of recognition from francophone countries and integration in international organizations.

Minister Loiseau ensured Ms. Hoxha of France’s support to Kosovo integration process and congratulated Minister on the reforms and work being done by institution, requesting that such work continues and Kosovo implements the SAA and conducts necessary reforms.

Minister Hoxha invited Minister Loiseau for a visit to Kosovo, in order to get acquainted, at first hand, regarding comprehensive institutional commitment to the integration process.
