Prishtina, 9 November 2017 – The Minister of European Integration, in a meeting with the Head of the EU Office/EUSR to Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, has formally handed over the first contribution of Kosovo institutions for the Country Report.
Minister Hoxha highlighted the importance of the Country Report as the main instrument, through which the European Union will measure the progress achieved by the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo since the publication of the latest Report in November 2016.
At the same time, the report will identify the key challenges faced by Kosovo’s institutions.
Minister Hoxha reassured the commitment of Kosovo institutions to advance the European agenda.
In order to make a real and factual assessment of developments in Kosovo, the Institutions of Kosovo have received nearly 1,500 questions from the European Commission.
Institutions will have another chance to submit additional information in the month of February, regarding the developments from November 2017 to February 2018.
The Country Report for Kosovo will be published in April 2018
