Prishtina, 27 February 2015 – Minister of European Integration, Mr. Bekim Çollaku hosted in a meeting today the head of mission of the Luxembourg Embassy in Prishtina, Mr. Pierre Weber, with whom they discussed about bilateral cooperation, SAA signature and visa liberalization process.Initially, Minister Çollaku expressed the gratitude about the political and economic aid that was provided to the Republic of Kosovo from Luxembourg. Also, Mr. Çollaku thanked Mr. Weber regarding the signature of agreement of understanding under which a financial assistance will be provided to the sector of health, education and training as well as in the water sector. Within the assistance, Mr. Weber pledged to support the European integration process as well as other specific projects that will derive from the government program.
Minister Çollaku during this meeting as well reiterated that two main objectives are the signing of the SAA and visa liberalization process. Regarding these two processes he reiterated that “Kosovo is ready to sign the SAA and is also in the final stage of fulfilling its obligations under the visa liberalization process. Upon conclusion of all our obligations, we expect from Brussels to recognize these achievements and reward the citizens in meritorious manner. There is no room for rhetoric, Republic of Kosovo needs concrete steps towards European integration.“
