Minister Çitaku was a panelist at the conference “how women and girls, in Kosovo, vote”

Prishtina, 18 October 2013 – Minister of European Integration, Mrs. Vlora Çitaku was a panelist at the Conference how women and girls, in Kosovo, vote, during which were presented data derived from the research: “how women and girls, in Kosovo, vote”. The purpose of this conference as well, is to contribute to the mutual awareness of women and girls about the voting importance, and to inform, in more details, the women candidates for the challenges of women and girls in Kosovo.

Kosovo Center for Gender Studies (KCGS), has organized this conference on women’s participation in politics, in order to present the data derived from research and to discuss how women and girls, in Kosovo, vote. At the same time, to introduce and discuss a report on the monitoring of media regarding representation of women in politics in the context of campaign for local elections 2013. In panel, KCGS, has invited politicians in order to give their view regarding the issue of the inclusion of women in elections, where in this case as a panelist was also present Minister Çitaku.
