During the meeting they discussed Kosovo’s achievement, including the conclusion of contractual relations with European Union through the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, and the positive report for Kosovo in the Visa Liberalization process.
The Kosovan delegation stressed that they expect to receive the Visa Liberalization recommendation at the beginning of the next year.
Moreover, it was once more reiterated that Kosovo and Italy have excellent bilateral relations.
Whereas, the Head of Italian Diplomacy, Paolo Gentiloni, emphasised that Italy supports the dynamics of Kosovo-EU relations and Kosovo’s aspirations for membership in international organizations.
Also, Mr. Gentiloni agreed that inter-state cooperation in the field of economics, as well as in the field of security, must be further deepened.
